What We Believe
The Meaning of Our Name
We believe that God desires each of us to thrive, and that should include the way we educate our children. Education does not have to be a chore, but an invitation to discover, to grow, to develop interests and passions. We believe children are naturally wired to enjoy learning, that our job as educators should preserve that joy. We believe parents should have more options for their child's education and feel empowered to take a family-centered, homeschool approach should they have that desire. Zoe Learning House exists with a vision for providing hands-on, creative, inspiring learning to help children and families thrive.
The word zoe in Greek means a full, abundant life.

“I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” -Jesus, John 10:10b
"Our aim in education is to give a full life." -Charlotte Mason (Christian educator and key influencer to our approach)
Character and Our Christian Environment
At Zoe Learning House, our holistic approach is rooted in our Bible-based, Christian values. We integrate Christian character education into our daily rhythm, helping children build integrity, empathy, and courage. Students participate in simple, daily prayers and Bible readings in a safe and respectful environment.
Christ-Centered Values: Our program integrates Biblical principles into daily learning, helping children grow in their faith and reflect Christ’s love in their actions.
Respecting Others: We teach children to respect and appreciate the unique qualities of others, fostering a compassionate community.
Kindness and Service: Children learn the importance of kindness, empathy, and serving others, building a foundation for strong moral character and a heart for helping those in need.
We believe that the Lord has a plan and a purpose for every child and family that walk through our doors. Families from all backgrounds are welcome to be a part of our program, but we ask everyone to respect our Christian values and ethos.
Our Statement of Faith is ecumenical, Gospel-centered, and can be found HERE.
